Sub Inspector Suman Kumari had to face many ups and downs to become a sniper, but Sub Inspector Suman Kumari did not lose courage and completed the BSF Sniper Training Course. Completing the long run with 17 kg load in the stipulated time and 100 meter stalking was the most challenging task for Sub Inspector Suman Kumari in the entire BSF sniper training course. Every stage of BSF sniper training course was difficult, but everything has been completed under the guidance of BSF trainers. Sub Inspector Suman Kumari has returned to Punjab after completing the BSF sniper training course. Suman Kumari is originally a resident of Tungalghati in Mandi district.

In a phone conversation, Suman Kumari said that before going to the BSF Sniper Training Course, she had no idea that she was going to be the first female soldier to go to this BSF Sniper Training Course. On reaching the training centre, they were told that for the first time, female soldier Sub Inspector Suman Kumari had come for training. Sub Inspector Suman Kumari said that the guidance from BSF trainers has been very good. BSF trainers have prepared Sub Inspector Suman Kumari mentally and physically. Participants have been motivated at every level. Due to this, the thought of leaving this BSF Sniper Training course midway never came to the mind of Sub Inspector Suman Kumari.

Sub Inspector Suman Kumari said that she is happy that she completed the tough BSF Sniper Training course and became the country first woman sniper in BSF. Suman Kumari of Kutal village of Tungal Valley in Mandi district joined BSF in 2021. Her achievement has created a wave of happiness in Mandi district.

Suman Kumari has become a source of inspiration for daughters across the country. Suman Kumari, alone among 56 men, completed this training and created history for the country.

Sub Inspector Suman Kumari told that her family members were also unaware of such BSF sniper training course, but later they came to know about it. Sub Inspector Suman Kumari, who is commanding the platoon in Punjab, says that by doing the BSF sniper training course, they can protect their troops and are also aware of the complete strategy. Sub Inspector Suman Kumari said that no work is difficult, one must have the passion to complete it.
