Himachal News: Union Minister Nitin Gadkari Inaugurated and Laid the Foundation Stone of 15 NH Projects Worth Rs. 4000 Crore in Hamirpur Himachal Pradesh
Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari has announced to make Hamirpur Bypass four lane on the demand of Union Minister Anurag Thakur. Nitin Gadkari said that the process of making Shimla-Bilaspur NH four lane is going to be expedited. On the demand of Vikramaditya Singh, Public Works Minister of the Himachal Pradesh Government, Nitin Gadkari has announced to sanction additional Rs 150 crore under CRF.

Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Hamirpur, March 05:Â Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari on Tuesday inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 15 NH projects and ropeway project worth about Rs 4000 crore at Dosadka in Hamirpur district of Himachal Pradesh. Union Minister Anurag Thakur and Himachal Pradesh Government Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh were also present during the inauguration and foundation stone laying. BJP President JP Nadda has become a part of this program by joining virtually.

In Himachal Pradesh, many works of road projects worth one lakh crore will be completed by the year 2024, some Development works will start and some Development works will continue. Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari has announced to make Hamirpur Bypass four lane on the demand of Union Minister Anurag Thakur. Nitin Gadkari said that the process of making Shimla-Bilaspur NH four lane is going to be expedited. On the demand of Vikramaditya Singh, Public Works Minister of the Himachal Pradesh Government, Nitin Gadkari has announced to sanction additional Rs 150 crore under CRF. Nitin Gadkari has asked Himachal Pradesh government to send a proposal for CRF to the Centre. Development works worth Rs 125 crore is also going to be done under CRF in Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh. A proposal in this regard was given by BJP President JP Nadda.

Union Minister Anurag Thakur said this –
Union Minister Anurag Thakur said that whatever was asked from Nitin Gadkari ji, he gave it. He has laid a network of roads in Himachal Pradesh. What no one could do in 70 years, happened in the last 10 years. The length of roads has increased from 96 thousand to 1.5 lakh kilometers. Union Minister Anurag Thakur said that the foundation stone of roads worth three thousand crores has been laid in Hamirpur parliamentary constituency.
Union Minister Anurag Thakur said that the construction of 110 km long road from Hamirpur district to Mandi district will provide better transportation facilities to the people. The work on this project has been going on for the last one year. With the construction of this project, the distance from Hamirpur to Tourist City Manali will also be reduced. The distance from Hamirpur to Tourist City Manali is currently 124 km, which will reduce to 109 km. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari laid the foundation stone of Hamirpur to Karnohal 40 km long NH, Karnohal to Kallouhan 27 km National Highway.
Both these phases are under of Hamirpur Mandi NH. This NH is being constructed in different phases. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari laid the foundation stone of two phases. At the same time, the foundation stone of proposed double lane railway crossing at a cost of Rs 19 crore, tunnel work on NH 305 and slope protection work of the hill of Parwanoo-Solan National Highway at a cost of Rs 266 crore was laid.
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari also laid the foundation stone of the proposed Theog bypass at a cost of Rs 54 crore and the Kalruhi Khad bridge on NH 70 to be built at a cost of Rs 17 crore. Apart from this, the foundation stone of Hamirpur’s Rangas to Bagchhal via Badsar road, Shahpur-Singhuta-Chuwadi road was laid. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari laid the foundation stone of a 560 meter long bridge to be built on the Swan Canal of Una and an 800 meter long span bridge to be built on the Beas river connecting Kangra Terrace and Sthana under the Setu Bandhan Scheme.
