Small Procession Taken Out On Mahashivratri in Chhoti Kashi Mandi
Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Mandi, March 08: On the festival of Mahashivratri, a Small procession has been organized in Chhoti Kashi Mandi. This small Jaleb started from Raj Madhav Rai Temple and ended in the courtyard of Baba Bhootnath Temple.
Earlier, DC Mandi Apoorva Devgan, along with other officials of Mandi district, representatives of Municipal Corporation and people associated with Dev Samaj, performed Havan Yagya outside Raj Madhav Rai Temple.

After this, DC Mandi Apoorva Devgan received blessings from Lord Kamrunag ji located at Tarna. After this, Laghu Jaleb started from Raj Madhav Rai Temple, in which Police Band, Home Guard, Police and three major Gods and Goddesses participated.
With the beat of drums, the devotees were brought to Baba Bhootnath temple where in the ongoing Havan Yagya, DC Mandi Apoorva Devgan offered Purnahuti and received blessings.

DC Mandi Apoorva Devgan said that preparations for Mahashivratri festival have been completed. Tomorrow CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu will formally inaugurate the Mahashivratri Mahotsav and on March 15, the Mahashivratri Mahotsav will be concluded by Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla. This time, Saras fair will also be organized in Mahashivratri festival and cultural activities will also entertain the people.
At the same time, huge enthusiasm was seen among the people regarding Mahashivratri festival in Chhoti Kashi Mandi. Long queues of people were seen in the pagodas of Mandi city since morning and this sequence continued throughout the day. People got blessings by having darshan of Bhole Baba and kept a fast and sought wishes from Lord Shiva by offering milk, curd, flowers etc.
