Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times,Sundernagar(Mandi), March 30: Tek Chand Dogra, former Congress MLA from Nachan assembly constituency of Mandi district and former CPS, died on Saturday morning at the Medical College, Nerchowk, Mandi.He had just reached home after treatment, suddenly his health deteriorated again and he said goodbye to the world. Tek Chand Dogra was 77 years old. He was MLA four times and also became CPS once.

He was also the Chairman of Dogra Milk Federation and Chairman of SC-ST Development Corporation. Dogra was considered a staunch supporter of former CM late Raja Virbhadra Singh. He was called Hanuman of Virbhadra Singh in Mandi district. Dogra was also the President of Congress Party in Sundernagar District. He was also the state vice president of Congress Party.

On the demise of Dogra, Congress State President Pratibha Singh, Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh, former minister Kaul Singh Thakur, Rangeela Ram Rao, Prakash Chaudhary, Chetram Thakur, Sohan Lal Thakur, Brahmadas Chauhan and other leaders has expressed deep grief over the demise of Dogra.
