Reported & Written By Ishan Sharma, Diary Times, Hamirpur, March 30:  A banyan tree fell at around 6:30 pm on Saturday in the parking lot near the Deputy Commissioner office, Hamirpur. Four vehicles suffered minor damage after being hit by this tree while the roof of one vehicle was completely damaged. Cable TV and internet wires also got affected due to falling of trees. Employees immediately reached the spot and quickly repaired the wires. But still people had to face problems for about three to four hours.

People had to face problems due to delay and carelessness. After around 8:30 JCB arrived and both the parking lanes were opened.

Fireman Devendra said that four vehicles were hit, out of which one vehicle was heavily damaged. There is milky colored fluid in the banyan tree, due to which the Aari Hand Saw stopped while cutting the tree. To avoid inconvenience to the people, JCB was called so that both the parking lanes could be opened and other people could take out their vehicles from the parking lot.
