Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Kullu, April 07: Kullu District Police has arrested two persons on charges of Charas smuggling in two separate cases. In both the cases, police have recovered 545 grams of Charas.
According to the information, the team of police station Bhuntar, during patrolling, searched a Chinese dish shop on the basis of secret information. Upon search, 78 grams of hashish was recovered from the Chinese dish shop. The accused has been identified as Ami Chand (40), son of Tej Ram, resident of Bagicha Tehsil Bhuntar. Due to which Bhuntar police have registered a case against accused Ami Chand under Section 20 Narcotic Drugs Act in Bhuntar police station.

In the second case, the team of Kullu police station recovered 467 grams of Charas from a person during patrolling. The accused has been identified as Kishori Lal (31), son of Lal Das, resident of village Jindi, district Kullu. A case has been registered against the accused Kishori Lal in Kullu police station under Section 20 of the Narcotic Drugs Act and the accused has been arrested.
The process of presenting both of them in the court has been started.
