Monsoon rains continue to wreak havoc in the state. Heavy rains lashed Kullu district last night. During this, many houses were damaged and some vehicles were also damaged in the flood caused by a cloud burst in Nyoli Nala of Kharahal Valley in the district.

Some shops have also been damaged in this incident. In this incident of cloudburst, the drain water reached the road near the bridge and due to this the Kullu Manali National Highway has been obstructed.

We were told by a local resident – it is around 3 o’clock in the night and people have received a call from here and there that the brother is from here and the clouds have burst and it is raining heavily, so after that we also stood up. After that, when we started looking, the water which is there was very much and went inside some houses as well.

There has been a lot of damage due to heavy rains of people, so it is not known whether there has been any loss of life or property, but some small and big shops have also gone in it, and vehicles have also gone down. Along with the road, there has been a slide in many places, so it means that there has been a lot of problem, people are also facing a lot of difficulty in coming and going.

So the vehicles are also visible on the side of the road. Similarly, on the Kullu Manali road in front of the Gaman bridge and near Sev Bagh, traffic is obstructed due to debris from the mountain and long queues of vehicles have formed.
