Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Reckong Peo, March 11:Â Three workers working in the power project have died, while two are injured after being hit by a glacier near the under construction power project near Kafnu in Bhaba Valley of Kinnaur district.
According to the Complete information received from the spot, a glacier suddenly came from the hill at around 12.30 pm on Monday near the 24 MW power project under construction in Selti-Masrang (Bhaba Valley), which is being done by Ramesh Hydro Power Project Private Limited in Kafnu.

Five persons working in a 24 MW power project got hit by the glacier, due to which three laborers died due to being buried in the glacier. The deceased have been identified as Reuman Kindo, resident of village Urmi Jharkhand, Virma Urao, resident of village Kuchatole, Jharkhand, Ratan Lal, resident of village Kuchatole, Jharkhand.

While two injured, Krishna resident of Nepal and Chandra Nath resident of Langage, Jharkhand are undergoing treatment in Bhavanagar Hospital. Due to the arrival of the glacier, the hydro power project under construction has suffered partial damage.
