Kangra News: Procession Will Be Taken Out On The Beginning Of Mahashivratri in Kathgarh Shiv Temple

A grand procession is going to be taken out on the opening and closing ceremonies of the three-day Mahashivratri. Kangra District Police personnel are also going to be deployed to maintain cleanliness and law and order during district level Mahashivratri festival in Kathgarh Shiv Temple.

A meeting has been held under the chairmanship of the Sub-Divisional Officer Dr. Surinder Thakur regarding the preparations for the district level Mahashivratri festival in Kathgarh Shiv Temple. In the meeting, necessary guidelines have been issued to allow the devotees to have darshan on the occasion of Mahashivratri festival. A grand procession is going to be taken out on the opening and closing ceremonies of the three-day Mahashivratri. Kangra District Police personnel are also going to be deployed to maintain cleanliness and law and order during district level Mahashivratri festival in Kathgarh Shiv Temple. In the meeting, the Public Works Department has also been instructed to repair the road connecting Indora to Kathgarh temple and Punjab region. During the fairs, health department teams are going to provide services day and night for the convenience of the devotees.

It has been decided in the meeting that people organizing langar will have to take NOC from BMO Indora and Food Inspector.

Apart from this, provision is also going to be made for disabled devotees to have darshan.

Apart from this, Temple Sabha President Om Prakash Katoch said that MLA Indora Malendra Rajan is going to be the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony of the fair on March 7 and Sports Minister Yadavindra Goma will be the chief guest at the closing ceremony. Tehsildar Indora Shikha, Additional SHO Naresh Kumar, Executive Engineer Mohindra Singh etc. were present on this occasion.
