Vice Chancellor of Himachal Pradesh Central University and Dr. Harisingh Gour University in Dharamshala
Dharamshala: Himachal Pradesh Central University and Dr. Harisingh Gour University Sagar will now collaborate and share resources in the areas of research, academic, extension activities and skill development. In this regard, a memorandum of understanding was signed at the Vice Chancellor’s Secretariat on Wednesday. On this occasion, Vice Chancellor of Central University, Prof. Sat Prakash Bansal, Vice Chancellor of Dr. Harisingh Gour University, Sagar, Prof. Neelima Gupta, Registrar of Central University, Prof. Suman Sharma, Dean Student Welfare Prof. Sunil was present.

According to the MoU, there will be facilities for research and education, projects and programs in various academic subjects. There will be collaboration for student and faculty development, exchange of faculty, research scholars and PG students, sharing and synthesis of knowledge and academic research resources. During the period of the MoU, the research results will be jointly patented and the benefits of the patent will be shared equally.

According to the MoU, synergistic cooperation will be developed in resource-sharing and knowledge-sharing environment in various fields of science and technology or humanities. Along with this, there will be development of academic and research programs and sharing of expertise in training and other academic activities through joint organization of programs, joint guidance of students, exchange of faculty and students and internships etc. Along with this, both the universities will cooperate in starting skill-based courses related to the areas of beekeeping, fisheries, sericulture, mushroom cultivation and tourism.
