India rejected the comments of a UN official regarding the G20 meeting to be held in Kashmir. This officer had expressed concern about the issue of minorities in the valley. The Indian mission in the UN responded to these allegations on Tuesday. Said- such allegations are baseless and false. India rejects them. As G20 President, India has the right to organize meetings of this summit in any part of the country. A few days ago, UN’s Minorities Affairs Representative Fernand D’Varnes issued a statement on Jammu and Kashmir and the issues of minorities there. The Government of India has strongly objected to this.
