Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Una, April 10: A sensational incident has come to light in Panjawar of Haroli sub-division of Una district of Himachal Pradesh. Here the man has burnt his wife to death. The deceased woman has been identified as 55-year-old Asha, wife of Ashok Kumar. As soon as the police received information about the case, they immediately detained the accused husband and started interrogating him, while the forensic team has also been called to the spot to investigate the matter.

According to the information, Asha Rani’s son and daughter-in-law had gone out of the house for some work on Tuesday night. While she was present at her home with her husband.

On Wednesday morning, when the son reached home to go to his job, he did not find his mother there. Due to which when he asked his father about his mother, he could not give any satisfactory answer.

The son became suspicious of his father and started searching for his mother around the house. Meanwhile, he saw a burnt skeleton in an irrigation tank near the courtyard of the house.

After this he immediately informed his sister and the police about the matter. The police reached the spot and immediately detained the accused husband and started interrogating him, while the statements of the children of the deceased woman are also being recorded.

On the other hand, Additional Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Kumar Bhatia confirmed the matter and said that a man has burnt his wife to death in Panjawar. Police have started investigation regarding this incident. The accused is being interrogated while the forensic team has also been called to the spot to collect scientific evidence.
