The mortal remains of martyred CRPF jawan Rajat Katoch, aged thirty-one years, son of Late Shri Iqwal Chand Katoch, resident of Bhaura village of Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh, reached his native village Bhaura on Saturday afternoon.

After the mortal remains of martyr CRPF jawan Rajat Katoch reached Bhaura Gram Panchayat, martyr Rajat Katoch was cremated with full military honours.

During the last rites, CRPF jawan Rajat Katoch was bid farewell with emotional tears by thousands of people of Bhaura village.

CRPF jawan Rajat Katoch died of cardiac arrest while on duty in Chennai, Tamil Nadu state.

Rajat Katoch was only five years old at the time of the death of his father, late Shri Iqwal Chand Katoch, during his CRPF service.
