HP Assembly: Cm Sukhu Said – Bulk Drug Pharma Park And Medical Device Park Will Be Set Up Only On The Conditions Of The HP Government

A small state like Himachal has not got this project like this. For this the officials have worked hard day and night. Even after one and a half years, the government is not able to decide whether this has to be done by the state government or someone else. More than 20 thousand people are to get employment in this.

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has said that the government is going to build Bulk Drug Pharma Park and Medical Device Park in Himachal Pradesh on its own terms.
CM Sukhu said that the previous Jairam Thakur government had sold the interests of Himachal Pradesh.
The Chief Minister said that the land for both the parks has been given on lease of one rupee. Water and electricity also have to be provided by the state government at very cheap rates. He said that both the parks will be settled, but the state government will have its own conditions for settling them. Good companies are going to be brought for these. Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that he has to look after the interests of Himachal.
The government has no intention of closing any park. Before this, there had been heated exchanges between the ruling party and the opposition on the entire issue.
The opposition walked out of the House raising slogans –
Dissatisfied with Chief Minister Sukhu’s reply, the opposition started raising slogans and then walked out of the House after the Question Hour, raising slogans.
During the Question Hour in the House on Wednesday, BJP MLA Bikram Singh had raised questions on Bulk Drug Park and Medical Device Park. On this, Industry Minister Harshvardhan Chauhan said that a lot of formalities are being completed in the Bulk Drug Park and Medical Device Park. The documents have been submitted to the Ministry of Government of India. International level rules are being followed.
Bikram Singh said that till now he has not done anything in this regard. When will it be built, when will the land be allotted?

On this, Minister Harshvardhan Chauhan said that the external work has to be done by the state government. Whether there is water or electricity, it has to be done by the state government.
Its budget has also been given to the executive agency. Whatever has to be done in this project, has to be done immediately. Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh have also got the park. There is competition in this.
It is also very difficult to bring raw materials to Himachal Pradesh. If the material comes from China or other countries, then 50 trucks will be solid based. This is very technical work. It is expected that he has also discussed with the Chief Minister. Only the Cabinet will take a decision on this.

CM said that 400 acres of land was given in the Medical Device Park at the rate of one rupee. Water is to be provided for free. Electricity also has to be given at Rs 3 per unit. The Government of India has given only Rs 100 crore for its development. The Industry Minister is working on this. The medical device park will be developed on its own terms, with Himachal in its interests. In Haroli, 1400 acres of land is to be given on lease for one rupee. The Government of India has to give Rs 1000 crore in this. If DPR is made, Himachal government will give Rs 923 crore. Electricity is being purchased at Rs 7 per unit. It has to be paid at Rs 3 per unit. Forget about GST for ten years. Sloganeering has started in the House on this Matter.
