This means sunlight is a bit scattered, making it less intense and visibility is slightly reduced. In areas like Satluj, Beas, and Ranjit Nagar, no noteworthy weather changes were reported. However, there’s a chance of light rain in places like Sirmaur and Solan. Otherwise, the rest of Himachal Pradesh seems to have no major weather changes.

Over the past day, some areas in the state experienced light rain with thunder. Lower hill regions like Kangra, Hamirpur, Una, Bilaspur, and parts of Mandi, Solan, and Sirmour stayed dry, and this pattern is expected to continue tomorrow. Middle hill areas, including parts of Shimla, Solan, Sirmaur, and Mandi, saw rainy weather, while higher hill regions like Kinnaur, Lahaul, Spiti, and some parts of Chamba and Kullu had rain and snow in some places. Temperatures remained fairly steady, with Keylong recording the lowest at 4.1 degrees Celsius and Neri reaching the highest at 41.7 degrees Celsius. Tomorrow, a new Western cyclonic disturbance is likely to affect the Western Himalayan Region.

Today, there wasn’t a significant amount of snowfall reported in any area, according to the Ministry of Earth Science and the Indian Meteorological Department. However, there were varying amounts of rainfall across different places. Narkanda AWS received the highest amount of rainfall for the day, with 3.5mm, while Sundarnagar saw the least, with only 0.3mm. Other areas like Chhatrari, Buahi, Rampur Bushar, Kumarsain, and Palampur also received rainfall, with amounts ranging from 0.4mm to 3.3mm.
