IMD Shimla has predicted heavy rain and snowfall for the next two days in many parts of the central hill and high hill districts of Himachal Pradesh. On the other hand, a yellow alert has been issued for dense fog and haze in the plains of Himachal Pradesh till January 14.

IMD Shimla is predicting heavy rain and snowfall in all the central hilly areas and many parts of the high hilly areas of Himachal Pradesh for the next two days. On the other hand, a yellow alert has been issued for severe fog and mist in all the plain areas of Himachal Pradesh till 14th January. According to Meteorological Center Shimla, heavy rain and snowfall has been predicted at some places in the central mountain and high mountain region of Himachal Pradesh on January 16 and January 17.

Even today, there may be heavy rain and snowfall at one or two places in the high mountain region of Himachal Pradesh.

There is a possibility of this change in the weather of Himachal Pradesh due to the increasing activity of Western Disturbance.

On the other hand, during the next two days, in the early morning hours, IMD Shimla is predicting the possibility of severe dense fog in some isolated areas of Mandi district, Bilaspur district, Hamirpur district, Una district, Noorpur under Kangra district, Paonta Sahib and Dhaula Kuan under Sirmour district and Baddi and Nalagarh under Solan district. Even on Friday, many people had to face problems due to dense fog in many areas of Himachal Pradesh in the early morning hours.

Highest winter day and night recorded by IMD Shimla in Una district of Himachal Pradesh –

On the other hand, in the winter season of New Year 2024, the coldest night on Wednesday and Thursday has been recorded in Una district. The maximum temperature in Una district was recorded at ten degrees on Thursday and the minimum temperature at night on Wednesday was recorded at two degrees. Due to the effect of severe dense fog in Una district of Himachal Pradesh, the weather has become extremely cold.

Due to low visibility in Himachal Pradesh, vehicular movement is also being actively affected. Even in the morning and evening, people in Una district are rarely able to come out of their homes due to poor visibility.

Due to severe cold wave and fog in Una district of Himachal Pradesh, the entire life got disrupted –

The outbreak of severe cold wave is continuously increasing actively in Una district of Himachal Pradesh. People’s problems have increased due to severe fog in Una district. Amidst the cold winds, on Friday, a day before the Lohri festival, a very small number of people of Una district reached the markets for shopping.

However, a large number of people have been seen shopping at wholesale peanut shops. In Una district, people have been seen struggling with the problems of cold wave in the morning and evening as well as in the afternoon.

In Una district, two-wheeler drivers are facing the most problems due to poor visibility. A large number of people at shopkeepers and all other workplaces in Una district are looking for ways to protect themselves from winter by lighting heaters and fires.

Like Thursday, the beginning of the morning on Friday also faced severe dense fog and mist.

Although the people of Una district were hopeful that the sun would shine by noon and there would be relief from the problem of heavy cold, but after the scorching sun shone for some time, the Sun God also disappeared from sight after some time had disappeared completely.
