Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, May 31A Police Jawan committed suicide by swallowing poisonous substance in Jhaleda under Police Line Una in Himachal Pradesh.The deceased police Jawan has been identified as Vishal alias Honey son of Ravindra Kumar resident of Chakkasarain, Amb district Una. According to the information, the deceased Police Jawan was also the driver of DSP Una.
Una police has taken the body of deceased police jawan Vishal alias Honey into custody and is getting the postmortem done. The father of deceased police Jawan Vishal alias Honey has made serious allegations of harassment against his son’s wife, mother-in-law and sister-in-law.
The family of deceased police Jawan Vishal alias Honey has alleged that their son Vishal committed suicide after getting fed up with the harassment of his in-laws.
The Una Police has registered a case of harassment against the deceased son’s wife, mother-in-law and sister-in-law on the basis of the complaint of the father.
In a complaint lodged with Una police, deceased police jawan Vishal alias Honey’s father Ravindra Kumar said that his son Vishal was married to Madhu six months ago.
Ravindra Kumar said that since his son Vishal got married to Madhu, Vishal’s mother-in-law Baby, sister-in-law Mamta and his wife Madhu used to harass him a lot.
Ravindra Kumar made serious allegations and told Una police that his son Vishal’s wife Madhu used to live in government quarters. But for the last 15 days she was staying at her maternal home.
Ravindra Kumar said that on May 28, his son Vishal went to his maternal home Bhatauli to meet his wife Madhu. After that Vishal came to duty the next morning, but Madhu had kept his son Vishal’s phone with herself.
Ravindra Kumar said that on Thursday night, he got information that his son Vishal has committed suicide by consuming poison.
Ravindra Kumar has directly alleged that his son Vishal took the extreme step of committing suicide after being fed up with his wife Madhu, mother-in-law Baby and sister-in-law Mamta.
Una district Superintendent of Police Rakesh Singh said that on the basis of Ravindra Kumar’s complaint, Una police has registered a case against deceased police jawan Vishal’s mother-in-law Baby, sister-in-law Mamta and his wife Madhu for forcing him to take the extreme step of committing suicide.
