Riders Of Rohtang Riders Group Set Out On A Two-Day Spring Ride.
Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Mandi, April 06: More than 60 people, including 25 riders of Rohtang Riders, have set out on a two-day spring ride, demanding justice for the victim of gang rape of a European rider in Jharkhand state of India last March. Rohtang Riders’ ride started from Manali and will conclude at Barot, a tourist spot in Mandi district. On the way, Rohtang riders are passing the message of “Say No to Rape”.

Let us tell you that this group of Rohtang riders does two rides every year, one of which is their main ride and the other is spring ride. Rohtang Riders try to convey some message through every ride. Till now Rohtang Riders have tried to give many messages regarding environmental protection, cleanliness, tourism, road safety and drug addiction. Many well-known people of Himachal Pradesh are associated with the Rohtang Riders group. Pahari singer Ramesh Thakur, associated with the Rohtang Riders group, said that his aim of joining the Rohtang Riders group is to make people aware and discharge their responsibilities towards the society properly.
In this ride, 25 riders are on bikes, while the rest are going in other vehicles.
The special thing is that about two dozen women are also participating in this ride and trying to give the message of “Say No to Rape”.
