Shimla – After eleven years, all the government colleges of Himachal Pradesh are once again going to get new principals under the direct recruitment process of Himachal Pradesh State Public Service Commission. Due to which, Himachal Pradesh State Public Service Commission has issued a notification fixing new dates of interview.
Himachal Pradesh State Public Service Commission has set a hundred marks interview process for the direct recruitment process of new principals based on minimum educational qualification, teaching experience and many other parameters.
Himachal Pradesh State Public Service Commission has also issued a notification regarding the entire selection process for the direct recruitment process of all principals based on minimum educational qualification, teaching experience and many other parameters.

Himachal Pradesh State Public Service Commission will again appoint principals of all the government colleges of Himachal Pradesh through direct recruitment process after eleven years –
After a long gap of eleven years, all the government colleges of Himachal Pradesh have once again been issued notification for the interview for direct recruitment of new principals through direct recruitment process.
After the screening process of all the applications received by Himachal Pradesh State Public Service Commission, seventy-five candidates have been invited for interview for the posts of twenty-five principals by issuing a notification.
The selection process for all the twenty-five principal posts will be conducted by Himachal Pradesh State Public Service Commission on the basis of complete presentation of various subjects, conversation as well as interview.
According to the current data, recruitment is to be done on thirty-five posts of principals in all the government colleges of Himachal Pradesh.
Himachal Pradesh State Public Service Commission will conduct direct recruitment process through interview on the posts of twenty-five principals and recruitment process will be conducted through promotion on the remaining ten principals’ posts.
Only a few days ago, notification of the complete order of appointment through promotion for seventy posts of Principals in Himachal Pradesh was issued by the Himachal Pradesh Government.
Himachal Pradesh State Public Service Commission has prescribed a complete interview process of 100 marks for the direct recruitment process for the posts of Principals on the basis of minimum educational qualification, complete teaching experience and many other parameters.
Along with this, a notification has also been issued by the Himachal Pradesh State Public Service Commission regarding the entire selection process to be done on the basis of minimum educational qualification, teaching experience and many other parameters for the direct recruitment process of all the principals.
The entire process of interview for the posts of twenty-five principals will be conducted by Himachal Pradesh State Public Service Commission from December 18th to December 29th.
To bring good quality in Himachal Pradesh Higher Education Department, an important decision has been taken by the Government of Honorable Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Shri Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu to appoint teachers through direct recruitment process on the posts of some principals along with promotion.
Also, a few months ago, a notification was issued by Himachal Pradesh State Public Service Commission inviting applications to fill twenty-five posts of Principals through direct recruitment process.
After the screening process of applications of all the invited principals by Himachal Pradesh State Public Service Commission, seventy-five candidates were given eligibility and invited for interview under the second phase selection process after the first phase.
On the other hand, Himachal Pradesh Government’s Education Minister Rohit Thakur told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that during the tenure of the previous BJP government of Jairam Thakur, the posts of principals were lying vacant in most of the colleges across Himachal Pradesh.
Also, Education Minister Rohit Thakur said that the present Himachal Pradesh government has taken the issue of appointments of principals seriously and along with promotion of principals, now the process of interview of principals will also start through direct recruitment process from 18th December.
