Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, April 19: Today there is an atmosphere of happiness in the entire Himachal Pradesh because IPS officer Nalin Prabhat has been given the command of the post of Chief Director General (DG) of National Security Guard.

IPS officer Nalin Prabhat, born on 14 August 1968 in Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh, was earlier posted as ADG of CRPF. Now IPS Nalin Prabhat has become the Chief DG of NSG till his retirement on 31 August 2028.

Let us tell you that IPS officer Nalin Prabhat is of 1992 batch and was given Andhra Pradesh cadre.IPS officer Nalin Prabhat has done the work of rooting out all patterns of terrorism in Andhra Pradesh and This is the first time in the history of Himachal Pradesh that an officer has been posted on the post of Chief DG of NSG.
