Highlights-Himachal Pradesh government will give 2 biswa land in urban areas and 3 biswa land in rural areas for building houses on government land.
Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu Press Confrence-Today itself Rs 200 crore 54 lakh has reached the disaster relief fund of the Himachal government.
On this occasion we saw that I personally went there and saw that there were many types of problems and we had to deal with many types of problems.
Our disaster management team kept working round the clock and for the first time it seemed that even if someone needed a helicopter to rescue even one person, we would provide the helicopter.
We evacuated all the people from Seraj and also evacuated the pregnant women there through helicopter.

Still, we have lost the lives of four hundred and ninety-eight people in this disaster.
We all pray to God for them that God may give peace to their souls. But if the people of Himachal have the responsibility of rehabilitating those houses which have been destroyed.
It is also the responsibility of the Himachal Pradesh government to fully cooperate and to fulfill that responsibility, we discussed with all the cabinet members and said that at this time our need is to stand with these disaster affected families, however We are going through a period of economic crisis.

One lakh two thousand rupees. The entire debt of Himachal Pradesh has fallen on you, the people of Himachal Pradesh.
We studied all those things, how the investment has been trained and tried that if there is a need to cut our economic resources, then we can make cuts in some schemes of the budget.
Even if the need arises, these disaster affected families will also be helped wholeheartedly.
From this point of view, I am going to make four new announcements.
As a special package, we are going to give thirty-five hundred crore rupees to all those affected by the disaster for reconstruction and revival.
Which is our announcement, you know that around thirty-five hundred of our houses have been completely destroyed.
In Himachal Pradesh, any citizen, no matter how old he is, builds a house or sometimes owns more than one house. No matter how old a person is, his emotions are attached to that house.
His love is attached to it. Those thirty-five hundred houses in which his life and childhood had been spent for so many years were completely destroyed.
Thirteen thousand houses have been partially or physically damaged in this disaster. They have been completely and physically damaged.
To heal these wounds, we have announced this package of Rs 3500 crore for rehabilitation and resettlement.
