Hamirpur (Himachal Pradesh) – Himachal Pradesh Education Department has issued orders to remove all the ineligible Deputy Directors of entire Himachal Pradesh. Himachal Pradesh Education Department will now give the opportunity to only senior principals in place of all the ineligible Deputy Directors.
All such complaints have also been registered with the Himachal Pradesh Education Department from all the twelve districts of Himachal Pradesh, in which due to their relationship with political parties and leaders, junior principals have been Given promotion by the Himachal Pradesh Education Department to all the important posts of Deputy Director of Education And Special benefits are being provided to junior principals.
Himachal Pradesh Higher Education Directorate Board issued appointment orders of senior principals by removing all ineligible Deputy Directors –
Now in Himachal Pradesh, all the Principals included in all the seniority lists will be posted on the most important posts of Deputy Director in Himachal Pradesh Education Department.
Orders have now been issued to remove all the junior principals holding the post of Deputy Director of Education in all the twelve districts of Himachal Pradesh from the posts of Deputy Director of Education in Himachal Pradesh Education Department.
After the case pending in the Himachal Pradesh High Court, the Chief Secretary of Himachal Pradesh Education Department has issued important orders to the Himachal Pradesh Education Director in the entire matter and has given special instructions to strictly implement all the orders.
Appointment orders have been issued to school principals on the Himachal Pradesh Deputy Director of Education Primary, Himachal Pradesh Education Deputy Director Higher, Himachal Pradesh Education Deputy Director Inspection Wing in all the twelve districts of Himachal Pradesh.
Such complaints were continuously coming to light from all the twelve districts of Himachal Pradesh, where due to the relationship of political parties and leaders, all the junior principals were given the gift of special promotion by the Himachal Pradesh Education Department to the posts of Deputy Director of Himachal Pradesh Education.
Due to which, expressing strong displeasure over the entire process of promotion, four school principals of Himachal Pradesh filed a petition in the Himachal Pradesh High Court in 2021.
The principals of four schools, including Kuldeep Dongra, Sunil Thakur, Vikas Mahajan as well as Inderjit Singh, had filed a petition in the Himachal Pradesh High Court saying that in the appointment of Deputy Director of Education in Himachal Pradesh, junior principals are being given priority while continuously ignoring senior principals. A special gift of appointment to the post of Deputy Director of Education is being given to junior principals.
Due to which, in the entire matter, senior principals have to continuously work under junior principals.
The Himachal Pradesh High Court, while hearing the entire petition, had banned all new appointments of Deputy Directors of Education in Himachal Pradesh in September 2022.
Besides, one week’s time was given to seek reply from Himachal Pradesh Education Department on the entire matter.
Also, on September 15, 2023, the court of Himachal Pradesh High Court Chief Justice Satine Vaidya, while hearing the entire case, issued orders to file the hearing of the petition in a double bench.
On the other hand, the entire case will be heard again on December 13, 2023. The entire hearing process will be started in two batches in the court of Himachal Pradesh High Court Chief Justice Ramachandra Rao and Chief Justice Jyotsna Rewal Dua.
Also, even before the next hearing of the entire matter, Himachal Pradesh Chief Education Secretary has issued orders to Himachal Pradesh Education Director to make new appointment of Principals on the basis of seniority on all promotions from the posts of Principal to the posts of Deputy Director of Education.
Chief Additional Secretary of Himachal Pradesh Education Department, Anil Kumar has issued orders in this regard to all the twelve districts.
In Himachal Pradesh Education Department, junior principals with less than one year’s experience are holding the main post of Deputy Director of Education –
In all the twelve districts of Himachal Pradesh, such junior principals have been appointed in Himachal Pradesh Elementary Education Department, Himachal Pradesh Higher Education Department as well as Himachal Pradesh Education Inspection Wing, due to which the experience of junior principals Has been found is also less than one year.
At the same time, in some districts, there are senior principals who have completed more than twelve years of serving as principals in schools.
