Mainly Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari has made a special contribution in getting it approved.

Indian Central Government under the Central Road and Infrastructure Fund (CIRF) Schemes worth Rs 154.25 crore have been approved for selected areas of Una and Kangra districts, two major districts of Himachal Pradesh. Giving information, Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari sent this information on social media.
Nitin Gadkari said that the first priority of the Modi government of India is being given to develop infrastructure to smooth the traffic in the country.
Nitin Gadkari said that the entire Himachal Pradesh has been affected by natural disasters like heart-wrenching rains, landslides and floods.
This decision has been taken after the Himachal Pradesh Government and Bharatiya Janata Party National President JP Nadda and Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur discussed the issues like infrastructure and structure in Himachal Pradesh and after that this announcement has been approved. .
Nitin Gadkari said that on this central project, construction work of two strong bridges will be started at a cost of Rs 50.60 crore on Swan River and Rs 103.65 crore on Vyas River around Pong Dam.
