Himachal Pradesh School Education Gyanalok Parisar, Dharamshala 176213 has doubled the fees of private educational institutions for obtaining all affiliations. It has also been decided to triple the fees charged for No Objection Certificate (NOC) from Himachal Pradesh School Education Board.
Earlier only ten thousand rupees were charged for new affiliation but now this fee has doubled to twenty thousand rupees.
Also, Himachal Pradesh School Education Board previously charged only Rs 50,000 for issuing No Objection Certificate and now the fee for NOC will be tripled to Rs 1,50,000.
This order has been implemented by Himachal Pradesh School Education Board for all the schools and private educational institutions applying after October 1, 2023.
Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education, while addressing the Diary Times press conference, said that in exercise of all the substantive powers under Section 19(3) of the Board Act, the Board has approved the provisions of Rules 16.12.1 and 16.6.1 of the Affiliation Criteria for Private Educational Institutions Regulation. Under this, all affiliation fees have been increased, due to which new private educational institutions will now have to pay double the fees to Himachal Pradesh School Education Board to get affiliation.
Himachal Pradesh School Education Board has also increased the fees for school affiliation renewal, upgradation of schools, affiliation fees for three and five years. Himachal Pradesh School Education Board, while addressing the Diary Times press conference, said that till October 31, upgradation of all new schools opening in Himachal Pradesh from class 9th to class 12th and renewal of affiliation of already running private schools in Himachal Pradesh will be done. Applications have been invited for. Issuing the notification, Himachal Pradesh School Education Board management said that online applications for affiliation have been invited for private educational institutions fulfilling all the conditions and criteria before October 31, after which the inspection process of all these applications will start till November 30. It will be done.
The time to inform all concerned private educational institutions about all the shortcomings found in the inspection process has been kept till December 15. All the concerned private educational institutions will have to remove all the shortcomings of the educational institution from 15th to 30th December. Himachal Pradesh School Education Board will announce the decisions of new applications received for getting affiliation from January 31, 2024.
