With the unexpected developments in the Rajya Sabha elections, not only the rebel MLAs but also their close ones were targeted by the Congress. Five nominated councilors supporting Sudhir were also removed from Municipal Corporation Dharamshala. The whip of Congress’s action against those close to the rebel MLAs has not stopped yet. The party has also appointed a new block committee president in Dharamshala. This strict stance of the Congress high command is now being considered as a clear message to those close to the rebels that there is no scope for them in the party. In such a situation, the only option before them is to find a home with their leader in BJP. On the other hand, it will not be easy for many BJP leaders from rebel-held areas to adjust themselves. Former MLA Rakesh Kalia, who left Congress and joined BJP, has indicated this by resigning.

Even if a volcano of opposition does not erupt in BJP, which is known for strict discipline and decisions, the possibility of some more leaders changing sides cannot be completely ruled out. It can be said that with the return of rebel MLAs to their respective circles and becoming active, a new phase of party-change politics will gain momentum. This period will further heat up the internal politics of BJP and Congress even before the by-elections.

We are and will remain with Sudhir Sharma on the issue of development of Dharamshala. Then, no matter what the political party. No desire for position. If Sudhir Sharma wishes, he is ready to help in speeding up the development of Dharamshala as a worker in BJP.

-Rajkumar Kashyap, former Block Congress President Dharamshala

I Have worked shoulder to shoulder with Rajinder Rana for the development of Sujanpur and will do so in future too. Ready to work under his guidance in future also.

-Captain Jyoti Prakash, former Block Congress President Sujanpur

We want development and this vision is with Sudhir Sharma only. The honor of old BJP officials and workers comes first. As an ordinary worker, there is no problem in working under the leadership of Sudhir Sharma for the development of Dharamshala.

Some people in the organization were already facing problems, hence eviction action has been taken. This suspicion was already there and I had already submitted my resignation to the District President before the expulsion. I have been a dedicated soldier of the party. It will soon be decided what to do next.
