Himachal Politics: Ganguram Musafir joins Congress

In this series, former Congress leader Ganguram Musafir, who left the Congress Party and played an important role in defeating Congress’s Pachhad Assembly candidate Dayal Pyari by contesting as an independent candidate from Pachhad Assembly constituency of Sirmour district in the 2022 Himachal Assembly elections, returned to the Congress party today. Due to this, problems have increased for BJP’s Shimla parliamentary constituency.
Former Congress leader Ganguram Musafir has joined the Congress on Saturday at Himachal Pradesh Congress Party Headquarters Rajiv Bhawan, Shimla in the presence of Himachal Pradesh Congress Party President Pratibha Singh, Congress Party Working President Sanjay Awasthi and Himachal Assembly Deputy Speaker Vinay Kumar.
The most important thing is that Ganguram Musafir has also been the MLA from Pachhad assembly constituency of Sirmaur district and the Speaker of Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly.
Himachal Pradesh Congress Party President Pratibha Singh told the media that Congress leader Ganguram Musafir’s re-joining the Congress party during Himachal Lok Sabha elections has ensured the victory of Congress in Shimla parliamentary constituency Because Ganguram Musafir has a lot of influence among the voters and workers of Shimla parliamentary constituency.
