Himachal News: There Will Be Major Changes In The Cluster System, There Will Be Relief In Many Conditions

Brainstorming will be done to implement the decisions of change in the cluster system. The Secretary of Himachal Pradesh Education Department is going to hold a meeting with the Deputy Directors of Primary and Higher Education of all the districts and DPOs of DIET. This meeting has been proposed in the month of March. In such a situation, the Education Department has set a target of implementing the changes in the plan in schools before the upcoming academic session.
In this meeting, guidelines are going to be given to implement the changes made in the cluster system at the ground level. Along with this, suggestions are going to be taken from the district officials regarding the implementation of these decisions in the meeting.
It has now been decided to increase the radius of 300 meters to 500 meters in the cluster system. In Himachal Pradesh, those schools which have not been able to join the cluster system due to the radius of 300 meters, those schools are going to be brought into this system under the radius of 500 meters. Relief was also provided considering the geographical and other circumstances of the school. For example, if it is not possible to organize joint prayer meetings and mid-day meals in schools, then relief is going to be given. However, other conditions of the cluster system are going to be included in these schools.
Meeting proposed in the month of March –
Deputy Director of Elementary Education, Hamirpur, Ashok Kumar says that meaningful changes are being made in the scheme so that the remaining schools can be brought into the scheme. However, it is also expected that these schools will be given relief from many conditions. In this regard, a meeting with the Education Secretary has been proposed in the month of March.
143 schools within 300 meter radius out of cluster –
In Hamirpur district, 143 schools could not participate in this scheme due to the condition of 300 meter radius in the cluster system. There are 460 government primary schools in the district. Now the remaining schools are going to be included in this system under the condition of radius of 500 meters.
