Himachal News : Meri Mati Mera Desh campaign started from today to pay tribute to the martyred heroes in the country
Himachal News : Nationwide Meri Mati, Mera Desh campaign is starting from today to pay tribute to the heroes who laid down their lives for the country. Till August 30, there will be programs in Meri Mati Mera Desh campaign from village and block level to local urban bodies and national level.
In this campaign, various programs will be organized to remember the heroes. During this, smart books will be set up in panchayats in the memory of the brave soldiers.
This campaign is the closing program of Amrit Mahotsav of Independence. Which started on March 12, 2021 and under this, more than two lakh programs were organized across the country.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently announced Meri Mati Mera Desh campaign during his Mann Ki Baat program. The aim of this campaign is to honor the brave freedom fighters and heroes who sacrificed their lives for the country.
Under this campaign, programs like Panch Pran Pratigya, Vasudha Vandan and Veero ka Vandan will also be organized. Apart from this, Amrit Kalash Yatra will also be taken out in seven thousand five hundred urns carrying soil from every corner of the country to make Amrit Vatika in Delhi. Amrit Vatika will be a symbol of commitment for Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat.
