Himachal News: Long traffic jam on both sides of Chandigarh-Shimla National Highway-5 due to overturning of a truck loaded with rice
Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Solan, June 12 :A road accident has come to light on Chandigarh-Shimla National Highway-5. Here a truck loaded with rice overturned on the road, due to which the entire four lane was closed.
According to the information received from the spot, the truck was carrying rice of Food Corporation of India from Narayangarh. Then at a short distance from Solan, the tempo traveler going ahead of the truck suddenly applied brakes, due to which the truck went out of control, hit the divider and overturned on the road.
Due to the rice sacks loaded in the truck being scattered on the other line of the four lane, there is a long jam on both sides of the road.
The best thing is that no loss of life or property has been recorded in the entire accident.
