Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, June 12 :A case of beating up a minor girl of Pali village has come to light against Jaya Swaroop, the head of Pali Panchayat of Drang assembly constituency of Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh.
It has been alleged against the Panchayat Pradhan Jaya Swaroop that a dispute arose over the road and then the whole matter reached to a fight.
Serious allegations of beating have been made by both the parties against each other. In the entire case, the investigation has been started by registering a cross FIR by the Padhar police station in-charge.
In a serious case of beating, the victim minor girl and her father lodged a complaint with the Padhar Police Station in-charge and told that Jaya Swaroop, the head of Pali Panchayat of Mandi district, forcefully beat them and their entire family.
The entire incident took place on Sunday, June 9 at 5 pm when the minor girl and her entire family had left the house for a feast in Pali village.Then on the way, the minor girl and her entire family found stones kept in the middle of the road, which were to be used in the construction of boundary wall by the Pradhan, due to which the minor girl and her entire family had to face difficulty in passing from there and when they complained about the stones kept in the middle of the road to the labourers working there and the husband of the Pradhan of Pali Panchayat, Jaya Swaroop, then the fighting started there.
When Pali Panchayat Pradhan Jaya Swaroop was talked to about the entire assault case, she showed the photo of the time of the incident in which the minor girl is seen pulling the hair of the Panchayat Pradhan.
According to Pali Panchayat Pradhan Jaya Swaroop, her mason and family were quietly engaged in their work, And they were putting up a boundary wall on their own land, when suddenly the other party along with the whole family came there and started abusing, due to which the scuffle started.
Pali Panchayat Pradhan Jaya Swaroop said that it was not their intention to hurt the people of the entire family of the other party, but whatever happened was done in self-defense.
Also, the husband of Pali Panchayat Pradhan Jaya Swaroop says that the other party was not happy with the construction work going on near their house and had come deliberately to fight.
In the serious case of the entire fight, Mandi District Police Administration Additional Superintendent of Police Sagar Chandra said that the entire matter is being investigated by the Padhar Police Station in-charge keeping in mind all aspects.He said that the Padhar Police Station In-charge has registered a case of assault under various sections against both the parties.Also, the medical test of the minor girl who was seriously injured in the fight has been done and the entire matter is being investigated.
He said that in the initial investigation, the main reason for the assault is the construction work of a Boundary wall being done by the Pali Panchayat Pradhan and no serious injury has been reported to anyone in this entire matter.
