It has been made completely mandatory to install Vehicle Location Tracking Device (VLTD) in all school buses of Himachal Pradesh. Now all school buses will not be able to pass in Himachal Pradesh without VLTD installed. Himachal Pradesh Transport Department has issued a notification to all the regional transport officers as well as motor vehicle inspectors of Himachal Pradesh regarding VLTD installation.

After VLTD installation, parents of school children can also easily see the live location of the school bus. Let us tell you that notifications regarding VLTD installation have also been issued by the Ministry of Transport, Government of India. To ensure complete safety of students traveling in school buses, installation of VLTD has been made completely mandatory in Himachal Pradesh.
After installation of VLTD in all the school buses of Himachal Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh Transport Department will also have complete information about when and where the school bus has gone. Through VLTD installation, help and relief can be provided to students with immediate effect even in case of emergency in school buses.
