Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Bilaspur, April 11: In Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh, a big liquor businessman has accused his partner and operation manager of alleged fraud worth lakhs of rupees. The partner and operational manager have said that the income earned from the wine shop from April 1 to April 5 will be used to repay the money. On the basis of the complaint from both the parties, the police have registered a case under sections 406, 420 and section 34 of the Indian Penal Code and started investigation.
According to the information received from the police, this year itself, Krishna, son of Rajveer Garg, resident of B-34, house no. 1295, street no. 1, New Chandan Nagar, Ludhiana Punjab and Baldev Sharma bought 32 wine shops of Bilaspur through bidding. Which was earlier with a liquor contractor named Ashwini.

Before the opening of the wine shop in the new financial year, an MoU was signed between Baldev Sharma and liquor businessman Krishna Garg. In this, Baldev Sharma was asked to join as operations manager and later as profit partner. Both were equal partners in profit and loss. Whereas Krishna Garg kept the financial matters with himself.

In the complaint lodged with the police, Krishna Garg has alleged that out of the transactions worth crores of rupees made by Baldev Sharma from the wine shop from April 1 to April 5, an amount of about Rs 35 lakh was missing. He has alleged that Baldev Sharma has committed fraud in this case. Whereas Baldev Sharma has said in the complaint lodged with the police that in lieu of purchasing liquor from 32 wine shops of an old liquor contractor, he has paid about Rs 32 lakh from his account. He had paid the amount of liquor lifted from the old stock of 32 wine shop to Ashwini Sharma.
On the other hand, SIT has been formed by the police administration regarding this serious issue. SHO Sadar has been given the responsibility for this. ASP Shiv Chaudhary himself is looking into this issue.
On the other hand, Bilaspur Police spokesperson Madan Dhiman, while confirming the matter, said that on the basis of the complaint from both the parties, the police has registered a case under sections 406, 420 and section 34 of the Indian Penal Code and started investigation. Only after investigation will the truth be known as to what actually happened in this case.
