Una, June 29: The body of a 72-year-old labourer has been recovered from Fatehpur under Mehatpur police station in Una district of Himachal Pradesh. The Mehatpur police station in-charge has identified the deceased as Mohan Lal, a resident of Jharkhand.

According to local people, the deceased Mohan Lal had been living in a rented house in Fatehpur and working as a labourer for a long time.
As soon as the information about the whole case was received, the Mehtpur police station in-charge and his team reached the spot and took the body of the deceased Mohan Lal in their custody and sent it for post-mortem. Along with this, the entire case has been registered and investigation has been started.
According to information, labourer Mohan Lal was ill for the past several days and lived in a rented house near Panchayat Ghar Fatehpur.
On Friday evening, when the local people saw Mohan Lal in a dead state, they informed the Mehtpur Police Station in-charge. After receiving the information, the Mehtpur Police Station in-charge and his team reached the spot and took the body into custody.
Additional Superintendent of Police Surendra Sharma said that the Mehtpur police station in-charge has informed the family about the matter. Also, the process of post-mortem has been started.
