Revenue Minister of Himachal Pradesh Government, Jagat Singh Negi has said that due to all the important geographical conditions, there is always a possibility of natural disaster in Himachal Pradesh. Recently, due to the heart-wrenching natural disaster that hit the state of Himachal Pradesh, huge loss of life and property has been recorded. The Government of Himachal Pradesh will also ensure necessary management to deal with all situations of natural disaster and also to ensure efficiency of rescue and relief operations and other important works by all the twelve Himachal Pradesh State Disaster Response Force (SDRF). An important decision has been taken to strengthen the teams of all the twelve districts. Jagat Singh Negi, Revenue Minister of Himachal Pradesh Government, gave complete information to Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma while presiding over the review meeting organized by Himachal Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority.

During the important meeting of Himachal Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority, detailed discussions were held on the disaster relief amount as well as all other financial benefits to be provided to all the natural disaster affected people in Himachal Pradesh. Himachal Pradesh Government Revenue Minister Jagat Singh Negi said that so far Rs 227 crore has been distributed under the special disaster relief amount to all the disaster affected families in Himachal Pradesh. Revenue Minister Jagat Singh Negi said that necessary guidelines have been issued to the officials to provide financial benefits of disaster relief amount from time to time to all the disaster affected families. Revenue Minister Jagat Singh Negi also said that all efforts are being made to ensure availability of all types of essential equipment to the soldiers of Himachal Pradesh, under which an amount of Rs 12.65 crore has also been released by the Himachal Pradesh Government.
