Shimla – Himachal Pradesh government has released its calendar for the year 2024, five holidays of all government employees have been reduced under the new calendar year.

Twenty-two gazetted holidays have been approved in the new calendar for the year 2024 released by the Himachal Pradesh government. On the other hand, in the new calendar of Himachal Pradesh government, an additional gazetted holiday has also been approved for all government women employees.

Himachal Pradesh government released the new gazetted calendar of the year 2024 –

Himachal Pradesh government has declared its new calendar for all gazetted holidays to be observed in the year 2024.

In the new gazetted calendar year of Himachal Pradesh Government, four holidays have also been issued on Sundays. In the new gazetted calendar year of the Government of Himachal Pradesh, the benefit of two gazetted holidays will not be given to the government women working in all the government offices and boards and municipal corporations of the state.

In the new gazetted calendar of Himachal Pradesh government, there are holidays on Rakshabandhan, Karva Chauth and Bhaidooj festivals, but in the new gazetted calendar of 2024, Karva Chauth and Bhaidooj festivals are falling on Sunday. Due to which, in the new gazetted calendar of Himachal Pradesh, women working in all the government offices of Himachal Pradesh have got leave only on 19th August for Rakshabandhan festival.

All types of notifications regarding this notification have been notified by the General Administration Department of Himachal Pradesh Government on Friday.

A total of twenty-four gazetted holidays have been declared in the new gazetted calendar of the upcoming year 2024 of the Government of Himachal Pradesh.

The only additional gazetted holiday has been declared for the new gazetted calendar year 2024 of the Government of Himachal Pradesh.

Himachal Pradesh Government has announced sixteen gazetted holidays for the year 2024 under Negotiable Instruments 1881 by Himachal Pradesh General Administration Department.

Also, announcement of twelve alternative holidays for the calendar year 2024 under Negotiable Instruments 1881 has also been issued by the General Administration Department of the Government of Himachal Pradesh.

On the other hand, among the new gazetted and public holidays of Himachal Pradesh Government, in the coming new year 2024, Dr. A holiday has been declared on the occasion of Bhimrao Ambedkar Jayanti, June 9 on the occasion of Maharana Pratap Jayanti, October 20 on the occasion of Karva Chauth and November 3 on Bhai Dooj.

Also, in the new gazetted calendar year 2024 of Himachal Pradesh Government, due to Makar Sankranti falling on 14th January on Sunday and Easter Sunday on 31st March also falling on Sunday, all Himachal Pradesh government employees will not be able to get the benefit of these holidays.
