Now in the entire Himachal Pradesh, if all the old vehicles are scrapped from the authorized scrapping facility center of Himachal Pradesh Transport Corporation, then all the drivers will get a rebate in the interest rate on the vehicle along with all types of pending fines imposed on the vehicle. Shimla- Taking an important decision, the Himachal Pradesh government has made an important provision of waiving off all pending fines for scrapping old vehicles in the entire Himachal Pradesh.

Himachal Pradesh Government has taken an important decision to provide waiver of pending fines and interest rate for one year on scrapping of old vehicles for positive change towards adoption of green energy and environment protection.
Now in Himachal Pradesh, if all old vehicles are scrapped, they will get exemption in pending fines and interest rate for one year –
According to the important decision of Himachal Pradesh Government, now in Himachal Pradesh, if the old vehicle drivers get their authorized vehicles scrapped from the vehicle scrapping facility registered by the Transport Department of Himachal Pradesh Government, then all the vehicle drivers will be reimbursed the amount of pending fines and interest rate exemption in pending fines and interest rate for one year.
Himachal Pradesh Government has taken this important decision for positive change towards adoption of green energy and environment protection under which waiver of all pending fines and interest rates for one year will be provided on scrapping of all old vehicles.
According to the current data of the Transport Department of Himachal Pradesh, no registered vehicle scrapping facility (RVSF) has been provided at present.
Due to which all the old vehicle drivers of Himachal Pradesh have to go to the Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facility Center (RVSF) Chandigarh to get their vehicle scrapped.
Officials of Himachal Pradesh Transport Department told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that at present all the drivers are being provided exemption in pending fines and interest rates through the registered certificate being issued by the Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facilitation Center (RVSF), Chandigarh.
On the other hand, at the time of registration of all new vehicles of Himachal Pradesh, under special section fourteen of the Himachal Pradesh Motor Vehicle Taxation Act-1972, all types of non-transport vehicles of the Himachal Pradesh Department will get twenty-five percent tax along with the Himachal Pradesh tax rate for fifteen years. An important provision of fifteen percent subsidy for all transport vehicles has been made for eight years.
Honorable Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Shri Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that scrapping of all old vehicles by the Himachal Pradesh Government will help in the direction of adoption of green energy and environmental protection as well as the development of automobile industries and all transport sectors in Himachal Pradesh is also going to get a boost.
Himachal Pradesh Government has taken an important decision to earmark all the important projects to convert the entire Himachal Pradesh into a green energy state by March 31, 2026.
It has also been decided to organize a meeting to prepare all necessary guidelines and plans for the entire process of taking the important decision of transforming Himachal Pradesh into a Green Energy State by 2026.
