Himachal News: Drug Addiction Made 34 Youth HIV Positive, Investigation By Health Department Revealed.

During the ongoing anti-drug campaign of Kangra District Police Administration, medical reports of drug addicts has revealed many serious diseases.
Thirty-four youth from Noorpur assembly constituency of Kangra district have been found HIV positive.
Investigation by the Himachal Pradesh Health Department has revealed that most of the thirty-four HIV victims consumed intoxicants using the same syringe.
All thirty-four HIV victims are youth in the age group of 25 to 30 years.
The growing black drug trade in Noorpur assembly constituency of Kangra district has made the youth HIV positive along with making them drug addicts.
Important investigation by Kangra District Police Administration and Himachal Pradesh Health Department has revealed that in the cases of thirty-four HIV positive people reported in Noorpur assembly constituency, most of the youth were intoxicating with the same syringe. Due to which the HIV virus found in one person has reached the bodies of other thirty-three drug addicts in the group through syringes.
What is most surprising is that HIV positive cases have been found among those youth who were tested by the Himachal Pradesh Health Department when they were caught in an inebriated state.
Along with this, Kangra District Police Administration and Himachal Pradesh Health Department are also apprehensive that there will be many more drug addict youth in Noorpur assembly constituency, who are roaming around with HIV infection due to lack of testing for HIV virus.
Know the main symptoms of HIV virus –
- Loss of body weight by more than ten percent within a month.
- Fever in the body several times in a month.
- Having severe tuberculosis disease.
- Facing difficulties in breathing.
- After eight to ten years, symptoms of serious diseases appear in the body which makes the condition of HIV virus even more active.
Surprising cases have come to light during investigation in Noorpur assembly constituency. Thirty-four youth from Nurpur assembly constituency have been found HIV positive. The age of all thirty-four youth was found to be between twenty-five and thirty years. HIV virus investigation by Himachal Pradesh Health Department has revealed that all thirty-four youths used to consume drugs with the same syringe while sitting in a group. Many other serious diseases have also been found in all thirty-four youth. Which have entered from one person’s body to another due to repeated use of the same syringe.
