Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said that during the heavy rains of the last three days in the state, there has been a huge tragedy due to flood-like incidents in three thousand five hundred panchayats of the state.
Today, after conducting an aerial survey of rain and flood affected areas of Mandi and Kullu districts, he gave this information in Kullu. He announced an immediate relief of one crore rupees to the Kullu administration for the purpose of carrying out the relief work.
Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said that heavy rains have caused huge damage in Kullu district and soon tourists will be rescued from Manikarna Valley.
Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said that the national highway between Kullu and Mandi has been damaged at several places, which may take time to repair. The Chief Minister said that the government was constantly working to deal with this tragedy. Issuing guidelines, instructed to restore electricity, drinking water and road traffic soon.
He said – I have come to Ganga and last to Pulgami. We met people in the evening. About 40 shops and 30 houses were washed out in the flood and I came to know about it in the morning itself. And the seat has also reached the houses. We are sending a helicopter with satellite phone to four of our police personnel immediately under the night.

The electricity system has completely collapsed in the whole city. So now after fifteen minutes we are going to send that helicopter and we are going to start the rescue work which has started from Chander Dal.
