Himachal News : The 77th Independence Day celebrations were celebrated across the state with great pomp today. On this occasion, this state-level function took place at Shimla’s historic Ridge Ground.

Earlier, the help of ten thousand rupees was given in case of partial damage to the house, but the state government has increased this help ten times to one lakh pack. In case of damage to shops and dhabas, earlier only ten thousand rupees were given in lieu of goods, this has also been increased to one lakh rupees.
In case of damage to the goods of the tenant, earlier there was a help of twenty five thousand rupees, which has been increased to fifty thousand rupees. Earlier, about fourteen hundred rupees per bigha compensation was given on the onset of winter in agriculture and horticulture land.
It has been increased to five thousand rupees per bigha. Earlier, Rs 3,000 was given for damage to agriculture and horticulture land, which has been increased to Rs 10,000 per bigha by the state government.
Our government has prepared a long term plan for disaster preparedness, on which about eight hundred crores will be spent, in view of the disaster, no cultural program was organized on Independence Day.
