- Himachal News: Plan Will Be Brought In The Budget Session To Start Bhang Hemp Cultivation.
The plan prepared by the Himachal Government to start hemp cultivation in Himachal Pradesh is going to be brought in the House during the budget session of the Assembly.
The draft prepared by the Cabinet Sub Committee constituted by the Himachal Government is going to be placed for discussion.
After the approval of the House, the trial of hemp cultivation is going to be started in Himachal Pradesh.
A plan has been made to start hemp cultivation in Himachal Pradesh for industrial and medical use.
Himachal government has constituted a cabinet sub-committee under the chairmanship of Revenue and Horticulture Minister Jagat Singh Negi to start hemp cultivation. Opposition BJP MLAs have also been made members of the cabinet sub-committee.
The Cabinet Sub Committee has visited Uttarakhand and Madhya Pradesh to explore the possibilities of starting hemp cultivation.
