CM Sukhu Inaugurated And Laid The Foundation Stone Of 9 Developmental Projects Worth Rs 75 Crore In Chamba
Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Chamba, March 12: Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Monday inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 9 developmental projects worth Rs 75 crore in Bhattiyat assembly constituency of Chamba district. Addressing a public meeting in Chowari, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu announced the opening of Civil Court, DSP office, Mini Secretariat, Post Graduate College and creation of the post of Fire Officer in the area. He also announced to provide four crore rupees for the feasibility report of Chamba Chowari Tunnel and said that a new division of Jal Shakti Department will be opened for Bhattiyat and the division of Jal Shakti Department will remain in Dalhousie also.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister inaugurated a lift drinking water scheme worth Rs 2.20 crore for village Sarna, Suloh, Chaladni and adjoining areas in Bhattiyat tehsil and a drinking water scheme worth Rs 1.17 crore for Upper Badigi and Lower Badigi in tehsil Bhattiyat.
The Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu also announced the drinking water scheme for Samot and other villages of Bhattiyat block to be constructed at a cost of Rs 15.53 crore, flow irrigation scheme Rajin of Tehsil Bhattiyat to be constructed at a cost of Rs 12.59 crore, reconstruction work of Sarog, villages Jatroon, Trimath and Saloh of Tehsil Bhattiyat. Flood rescue work of Rs 4.32 crore, flood rescue work of village Mataula of Tehsil Singhuta worth Rs 1.79 crore, improvement and enhancement work of drinking water scheme for Chowari city worth Rs 25.90 crore.

CM Sukhu Also laid the foundation stone of Rs 3.86 crore landslide prevention work on Kali Ghar on Shahpur-Singhuta-Chauri Jot Chamba road and Rs 6.43 crore upgradation work of Singhuta to Jolna Khas road.
