Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, March 13: Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, while addressing a huge public meeting at Chaugan in Chamba district on Tuesday, said that multi-storey parking in Chamba city, Mini Secretariat, Indoor Stadium, Rajiv Gandhi Model Day-Boarding School in Gram Panchayat Udaipur, Chamba Chaugan Rs 20 lakh for beautification, Rs 13 crore for Chamba Heliport, opening of sub-tehsil and sub-division of Jal Shakti Department in Saho, providing Rs 15 lakh for sports ground in Saho, opening of Ayurvedic dispensary in Udaipur, opening of PHC in Chulihara And announced to start Plumbing and Fitter courses in ITI Chamba. CM Sukhu said that all those schools will be upgraded, the list of which will be provided to him by the MLA.

Earlier, Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of development projects worth Rs 275 crore in Chamba assembly constituency. CM Sukhu inaugurated 68 meter long span steel truss bridge built at a cost of Rs 4 crore over Ravi river on Mahla Bhagiyar Hared road, Kangela Nala bridge built at a cost of Rs 2 crore on Nakrod-Tikrigarh-Bhagaigarh road And Seru Nala bridge built at a cost of Rs 2 crore on Teesa-Saikothi-Jhajjakothi road dedicated to the public.

CM Sukhu Laid the foundation stone of Upgradation of Kiani-Rajnagar-Chaklu Koti road at a cost of Rs 28 crore, Luddu to Gharmani at a cost of Rs 7 crore, Sarahan-Ran road at a cost of Rs 6 crore, Sahu to Parotha Padhar road at a cost of Rs 6 crore, Shahpur-Singhuta at a cost of Rs 14 crore, Chuwadi-Chamba road, Bhanera-Devidehra-Rathiar to Mankot road from Rs 5 crore, Parel to Kohli road from Rs 13 crore, Chamba-Banikhet via Parel road from Rs 11 crore, Rajera to Dhuliara road from Rs 15 crore, Laying the foundation stone for the upgradation work of Lachauri to Salwan road with Rs 22 crore, Maida to Chakotar road with Rs 16 crore, Khairi to Bhunad road with Rs 15 crore, Bharmour to Badgram road with Rs 10 crore and Sirdi to Ghared via Suppa road with Rs 9 crore, Upgradation work of Churi to Basu-Kothi-Nurkula road at a cost of Rs 6 crore, construction work of Lahal to Bagru road and 40 meter span bridge at a cost of Rs 8 crore, to ensure continuous water supply through rain water harvesting 43 Rs crore project, Expansion work of the existing water supply scheme using anti-freezing technology for cold areas in Gram Panchayat Poolan Palan and Kugti in Tehsil Bharmour by Rs 10 crore, Expansion work of water supply scheme Sach Parel Sultanpur in Gram Panchayat Sach and Dramman in Chamba tehsil with Rs 8 crore, Sewerage scheme worth Rs 8 crore for Udaipur Khas of Chamba tehsil And revitalization works of Thundu Fargola water supply scheme worth Rs 3 crore for Gram Panchayat Kuthed, Janghi, Gagla of Chamba tehsil.

CM Sukhu said that Himachal government has provided Rs 180 crore for Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Government Medical College, Chamba, so that better health facilities can be provided to the people of the area. MLA Neeraj Nayyar welcomed Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on his arrival in Chamba Assembly constituency and expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister for inaugurating and laying the foundation stone of developmental projects worth Rs 275 crore.
