Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, during his one-day visit to Bilaspur district today, handed over 37 development projects worth Rs 445 crore in Jhanduta, Shri Naina Devi Ji, Ghumarwin and Sadar Bilaspur assembly constituencies.

Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Bilaspur, March 16: Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, during his one-day visit to Bilaspur district today, handed over 37 development projects worth Rs 445 crore in Jhanduta, Shri Naina Devi Ji, Ghumarwin and Sadar Bilaspur assembly constituencies.

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu inaugurated a 330 meter long bridge built at a cost of Rs 64 crore on the Govind Sagar reservoir on the Panjpiri-Kutaihla-Bagchhal link road. This bridge is included in the longest cantilever bridge of India. This bridge will provide transportation facility to the people of Shri Naina Devi Ji and Jhanduta assembly constituencies and the people of Jhanduta assembly constituency including the people of Ghumarwin area will get the facility of easy access to Bilaspur and Kiratpur.

Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu dedicated to the public the Rs 3.79 crore Kalol Polytechnic College building, Building constructed with Rs 1.21 crore in sub-tehsil Kalol. He inaugurated the Primary Health Center in Rishikesh built at Rs 1.41 crore, the building of Krishi Vigyan Kendra built at Barthi worth Rs 1.18 crore and Under Jal Shakti section Gehrwin, improvement works of various water supply schemes worth Rs 18.33 crore of Karwin drain.

The Chief Minister inaugurated the offices of Deputy District Attorney, Assistant General Attorney, Public Prosecutor, constructed at Ghumarwin with an expenditure of Rs 5.71 crore, Bridge built at Rs 1.64 crore on Gatol to Neri Narol road in Ghumarwin assembly constituency, Upgradation work of Ladarur-Jahu road via Hatwar with Rs 9.84 crore, Road built on Mohra-Sunali-Sukkar Khad with Rs 3.59 crore, Ghumarwin to Tikkar-Silh via Marhol-Soi-Ropri road from Rs 5.70 crore And Mehran-Nain-Jalaun-Pangwara-Talai-Kolibasti-Takrehada-Saloon Mandal Khil road constructed with Rs 2.52 crore.

Chief Minister laid the foundation stone of Buhar to Malhot road to be constructed at Rs 5.87 crore, Dholag-Chaknad to Gah road to be constructed at a cost of Rs 5.42 crore, Baroha to Kohina road from Rs 25.70 crore, Jaddu-Bargaon-Galu road from Rs 14.34 crore, Marotan to Dhani road Rs 6.29 crore And Rs 6.69 crore Bhallu to Balghad road.

He laid the foundation stone for the Upgradation works of Bagchhal to Talai via Kalol road with Rs 57.88 crore, Improvement works of Lift Irrigation Scheme Balra-Sunhani in Tehsil Jhanduta with Rs 1.44 crore And in Tehsil Jhanduta, Improvement works of Lift Irrigation Scheme Tehri-Bakain-Rirhod worth Rs 1.98 crore.

Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for the Swarghat-Shri Naina Devi-Bhakra-Kharkadi road in Shri Naina Devi Ji Assembly by Rs 3.82 crore, Upgradation work of Galwa to Gwalthai road with Rs 30.06 crore, Baihal to Swahan via Lakhala road from Rs 13.92 crore, Baner-Jagatkhana road from Rs 6.96 crore And Upgradation work of Toba Gwalthai to Dharot road with Rs 7.07 crore.

Chief Minister Laid the foundation stone of Targhel to Ladour road to be constructed at a cost of Rs 6.98 crore in Ghumarvi assembly constituency, Gahar to Khet road from Rs 7.52 crore, Sumbari to Bhajral lower road from Rs 4.77 crore and Rahiya-Amarpur-Hadsar-Ghumarwin Sunahani to Tungadi road from Rs 9.21 crore, Rajiv Gandhi Government Model Day-Boarding School to be built in Hatwad with a cost of Rs 5 crore, Dhingu to Sukdi link road from Rs 9.91 crore, Skill development center to be built in Ghumarwin with a cost of Rs 2 crore, Rs 3.92 crore for sub-station of 33 KVA in Bam Village And sub-station of 132 KVA in Ghumarwin at a cost of Rs 64.84 crore.

Chief Minister laid the foundation stone of Dhalli to Bandla Miyan road to be constructed at a cost of Rs 5.61 crore, Rs 9.46 crore Dhar Tatoh-Darobar-Saryanghati road, Panchayat Ghar Harnoda to Bohat Kasol road from Rs 8.34 crore And Kuthera to Bari Brahmana road with Rs 7.27 crore.
