The driver of the Thar vehicle has been produced in the judicial custody of the Himachal Pradesh High Court after issuing a challan under the Himachal Pradesh Motor Vehicles Act, 1988.

A tourist, who was the driver of a Thar vehicle, had lowered his Thar vehicle into the Bhaga river at Tandi Sangam located near the tribal district of Lahaul Spiti in Himachal Pradesh. The entire incident took place in the evening on Sunday, 24th December, when four to five youths were sitting across the Bhaga river near Tandi Sangam. Then suddenly a Thar vehicle driver, a tourist, surprises the whole world by crossing the Bhaga river by driving the Thar vehicle at high speed in the middle of the Bhaga river. The most fortunate thing is that there has been no loss of life in any way. Lahaul Spiti District Police Administration SP Mayank Choudhary told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that on Sunday, the video of a tourist driving a Thar vehicle is creating a stir all over the social media. In the viral video, a Thar vehicle driver is running in the Bhaga river of Lahaul-Spiti district between seen crossing the heart-breaking cold.
A fine of Rs 3,500 has been issued to the Thar driver under the Himachal Pradesh Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. To prevent such criminal incidents from happening in the future by tourists coming from outside states, Lahaul-Spiti district police administration has deployed Lahaul-Spiti district policemen on the Bhaga river near Tandi Sangam. The Thar driver, the tourist, has been produced in the judicial custody of the Himachal Pradesh High Court.
