The Central Inter-Ministerial team is on a tour of the state these days to take stock of the damage caused by heavy rains and floods. The team members took stock of the damage at various places from Solan, Mandi and Shimla yesterday.

The central team visited Thanag, Panduhout and Bali Chowki areas of Mandi district and talked to the affected people and assessed the damage. Ravinesh, the team leader of the central team and Financial Advisor of the National Disaster Management Authority, later said that on the instructions of the central government, eight One-member central team is taking stock of the damage at many places in Himachal.

This team is divided into two parts, one team is visiting Mandi and Kullu districts while the other team is visiting Solan, Shimla and Kinnaur districts. The central team will hold a meeting with Chief Secretary Pramod Saxena and other senior officials in Shimla tomorrow, July 21. A team of eight people from the Ministry of Home Affairs has come to Himachal to take stock.

On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Arnadam Chowdhary and officers of Public Works and Jal Shakti Department and other departments accompanied the central team.
