Himachal News: Car collided with bike after hitting a stray cow, one woman died, two in critical condition
Una, July 10: A woman died in a collision between a car and a bike in Mawa Kaholan under Gagret police station of Una district of Himachal Pradesh, while two people including the woman’s husband were injured. The deceased woman has been identified as Vandana wife of Vikram resident Dhohwal, district Hoshiarpur, Punjab. The team of Gagret police station has taken the body of the woman in its custody and started further action.

According to the information received, on Wednesday morning, Vikram was going from Daulatpur to Gagret on a bike with his wife Vandana. Suddenly a helpless cow came on the road in Mawa Kaholan. Meanwhile, a car coming from the front collided with the helpless cow and then collided with the bike. While Vandana died in the accident, the cow also died after some time.
Bike driver Vikram and car driver Rajat resident of Daulatpur were injured in the accident. They were admitted to the local community center. From where, after first aid, they were referred to Una. Vikram has been referred to PGI Chandigarh in critical condition from Una Hospital.
On the other hand, after receiving information about the accident, the Gagret police team reached the spot and took the body in their custody and sent it to the regional hospital for postmortem. SP Rakesh Singh has confirmed the matter.
