During this, the possible candidate for Mandi Lok Sabha seat and the changed political situation after rebel Congress MLAs joining BJP were also discussed.

Prakash Chaudhary has been a minister in the BJP and Hivikas alliance. At that time, Prakash Chaudhary was considered very close to Pandit Sukhram, who was considered the Chanakya of Himachal politics. Later he remained very close to former Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh. He was also the Excise and Taxation Minister in the Virbhadra government. During this meeting, former minister Prakash Chaudhary gave feedback on Mandi parliamentary seat during a detailed discussion on political issues with Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu.
Resignation not accepted, may get big responsibility-
Former minister Prakash Chaudhary had also resigned from the post of party president of Mandi District Congress, but the high command did not accept his resignation.
