The terrible fire was so fierce that the flames of fire have rendered fifty people of nine families completely homeless.In the entire painful incident of fire, a three-storey ancestral house resembling a chowki has also been completely burnt to ashes.

The homeless people told Diary Times that in a three-storey ancestral house resembling a chowki, the family members of uncles named Rajendra Kumar, Mehar Chand, Lal Singh, Jitendra Kumar, Prakash Chand, Dilaram, Sher Singh, Sitaram, Dola Ram and Dolu Ram lived together in this ancestral house.

But suddenly in the afternoon, a fierce fire broke out in the outpost-like three-storey ancestral house and in a short time, the fierce fire reduced the outpost-like three-storey ancestral house to ashes.

Tungadhar Gram Panchayat Deputy Pradhan Tilak Raj of Seraj Assembly constituency said that due to the sudden outbreak of fierce fire, the loss has been estimated to be more than one crore rupees so far.He said that by the time the villagers called the fire department, all the houses had completely burned down and turned into a pile of ashes.

SDM Thunag Lalit Poswal said that he himself was in Sundarnagar due to election duty, but as soon as he got information about the fierce fire, he immediately sent the Naib Tehsildar, Patwari and all other staff to the spot.He said that two vehicles of the fire department from Thunag and two vehicles from Gohar were sent to Tungadhar with immediate effect.He said that as soon as the complete report of the loss is received, immediate relief will be given to all the affected families.

Blankets and tarpaulins have been immediately provided to all the affected families by the administration, relief amount will be provided by the Himachal government as soon as the report of the damage is received.

Former Chief Minister and MLA of Seraj Assembly constituency Jairam Thakur also reached Tungadhar village of Seraj Assembly late on Monday evening and met all the affected people and he said that the entire incident of sudden fierce fire is painful.Jairam Thakur has immediately instructed all the officials of Thunag administration to provide immediate relief to all the affected people.

Jairam Thakur said that in this hour of great grief, I stand with all the affected families of Tungadhar.

The entire incident of sudden outbreak of a terrible fire has been mourned by Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur, former candidate of Seraj Congress Chetram Thakur, Himachal Pradesh Congress General Secretary Jagdish Reddy and everyone has prayed to God to give courage to all the affected families of Tungdhar in this hour of grief.
