Trials for players of badminton, boxing, judo, wrestling and hockey will start from 24th July at National Center of Excellence Sai Hamirpur. Manoj Awati, assistant director of the centre, told that the trials for athletics, badminton, boxing, judo and wrestling will start on July 24 and 25, while trials for hockey will be held from July 24 to 27.
He told that talented players up to the age group of twenty one years can participate in this trial. These trials have been held in Sports Authority of India Hamirpur, there are 6 disciplines in which trials are going to be held for athletics, badminton, boxing, hockey, wrestling and judo.
These trials will start from 24 July. Hockey trail will run from 24 to 27 and the remaining days which will be displayed, their trail will run from 24 to 25 and at present 56 children are undergoing training in Hamirpur and trials are on for the next 64 vacancies.
Manoj Awati told that trials will be held for five seats in the men’s category and seven in the women’s category in athletics at the centre. Similarly, in badminton two seats are available for men and three for women, and eight for boys and ten for girls in boxing, seven for boys and six for girls in hockey, five for boys and two for judo. Available for girls. Similarly in wrestling one seat is available for men and eight seats are available for women.
