Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Hamirpur, March 20: A case has been registered in Sadar police station Hamirpur for supplying medicines from Nerchowk to Hamirpur through drone without permit. For four-five months, a person from Kangra district had hired a tenant from a local resident house for this work. Some other people are also involved in this work. Sadar Police received information on Tuesday that a drone had fallen near a private school in Gahlian village.

A team of Sadar Police reached the spot under the leadership of SHO Hamirpur Harish Guleria. Local people told the police that a person named Abhishek had taken the fallen drone with him to his residence in village Ghanala.

Sadar police reached village Ghanala, where in the presence of local ward members and local residents, they searched Abhishek, resident of Bushhara village of Shahpur in Kangra district, and a drone was found there.

Sadar police asked for the documents of the drone related to Abhishek, but he could not produce any permit and permission letter. On this, a case was registered against him in Sadar Hamirpur police station. Superintendent of Police Padam Singh said that investigation into the case is ongoing.
